Project Resources
Organize links, documents, and resources for your projects
What are Project Resources?
Project resources are links to external content that are relevant to your project. These can include documentation, design files, API references, PRs, or any other URLs your team needs quick access to. Resources are organized in the Resources tab of each project.
Adding Resources to a Project
Navigate to Project
Open the project you want to add resources to from your Projects page
Go to Resources Tab
Click on the "Resources" tab in the project navigation. You'll see existing resources and an option to add new ones.
Click "Add Resource"
Click the "Add Resource" or "Add Link" button. A dialog will open for you to enter the resource details.
Enter Resource Information
Provide a title for the resource and paste the URL. Optionally add a description to help team members understand what the resource is for.
Save Resource
Click "Add Resource" to save. The resource will appear in the Resources tab and can be attached to context updates.
Resource Features
What you can do with project resources
URL Preview
When you add a URL, Currently automatically fetches a preview with the page title, description, and thumbnail image. This makes it easy to identify resources at a glance.
Attach to Updates
When creating context updates, you can attach existing resources. This creates a clear connection between your updates and the relevant documentation or tools.
Quick Access
All resources are displayed as cards in the Resources tab. Click any resource to open it in a new tab, or use the external link icon.
Archiving Resources
You can archive resources that are no longer relevant without deleting them. Archived resources are hidden by default but can be viewed by toggling "Show Archived".
Organizing Resources
Use Descriptive Titles
Give resources clear, descriptive titles that make it obvious what they are. For example, "API Documentation" is better than "Docs".
Add Descriptions
Use the description field to explain why a resource is important or how it relates to the project. This helps team members understand context.
Keep Resources Updated
Archive outdated resources and add new ones as the project evolves. This keeps the Resources tab useful and relevant.
Link Related Resources
When creating updates, attach relevant resources to provide context. This creates a clear trail of information for your team.
Best Practices
- •Add resources as you discover them, rather than trying to add everything at once
- •Include a mix of documentation, design files, API references, and other relevant links
- •Archive resources that are no longer relevant instead of deleting them, in case you need to reference them later
- •Attach resources to updates when they're directly relevant to what you're sharing
- •Use the Chrome extension to quickly add resources from webpages you're viewing
